Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TeeSpace (teespace.app), operated by TeeSpace ("we", "our", "us"). By using TeeSpace, you agree to these Terms.

1. About TeeSpace

TeeSpace is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects golf simulator hosts ("Hosts") with golfers seeking simulator time ("Guests"). We provide the platform; we do not own, operate, or manage any simulator spaces.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use TeeSpace. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login details or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Bookings

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is successfully processed through Stripe.
  • Guests agree to arrive on time, respect the host's property, and follow any instructions provided.
  • Hosts agree to provide the space as described in their listing and to honour confirmed bookings.

5. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • TeeSpace charges a 10% platform fee on each booking, deducted from the host's payout.
  • Hosts are paid after the session is completed.
  • Prices are displayed in GBP and include all platform fees for the guest.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Each listing has a cancellation policy chosen by the host (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). Refund amounts depend on when you cancel relative to the session start time. Full details are shown on each listing and at checkout.

7. Host Responsibilities

  • Hosts must ensure their space is safe, clean, and as described.
  • Hosts are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance for their property.
  • Hosts must comply with all local laws and regulations regarding operating a commercial space from their property.

8. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must treat the host's property and equipment with care.
  • Guests are liable for any damage caused during their session beyond normal wear and tear.
  • Guests must not exceed the maximum guest count for the space.

9. Reviews

Guests may leave reviews after completed sessions. Reviews must be honest and relevant. We reserve the right to remove reviews that contain offensive content, spam, or are clearly fraudulent.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use TeeSpace for any unlawful purpose.
  • Create fake listings or fraudulent bookings.
  • Circumvent the platform to avoid fees (e.g. arranging payment outside TeeSpace).
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

TeeSpace is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of listed spaces. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid to TeeSpace.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Existing bookings will be handled according to the cancellation policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of TeeSpace after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
